WHEATON, IL — The Wheaton French Market will open May 16, but there will be some changes in 2020 due to the new coronavirus shutdown. In a post on Facebook, market organizers said, "We will be following social distancing precautions" and offered some more details about what that will involve.

Some changes coming to Wheaton French Market in 2020 include one-way aisles, limited vendors with more open spaces and a requirement to wear face masks. In May, the French Market will feature plants, flowers, farm-fresh foods and concessions, in addition to a handful of vendors who will be permitted to sell essential products, such as soap.
