Wheaton Named 31 out of 100 Safest Cities in the United States

Neighborhood Scout has released its ranking of the 100 safest cities in the United States and Wheaton has been listed 31 out of 100 safest cities.

It also is the 5th safest city in the state of Illinois. Lake in the Hills was listed as the safest city in the state and the second safest in the nation.

Neighborhood Scout says that it ranks cities based on population and safety from all crimes. The statistics for Wheaton say the annual crimes per thousand are 9.1.
