Wheaton Native Eliminated From 'The Voice'

She lost to a former Carrie Underwood backup singer

Micah Tryba was eliminated from The Voice on an episode broadcast on Tuesday evening. In this portion of the contest, singers compete against each other while performing a song together.

The 24-year-old Wheaton veterinary student sang "What Hurts the Most" with Andrea Thomas, who was a backup singer for Carrie Underwood.

"You both killed it," Blake Shelton said before choosing Andrea Thomas to continue on his team.
