Wheaton Playgrounds To Remain Closed 'Until Further Direction'
The Wheaton Park District says it is waiting on further guidance from the state before reopening playgrounds.
WHEATON, IL — The state may have moved into Phase 4 of Gov. J.B. Pritzker's Restore Illinois plan, but the Wheaton Park District is waiting on further guidance before reopening playgrounds. The park district made the announcement on Thursday via Facebook.
The announcement reads, "Until further direction comes from the State of Illinois, playgrounds will remain closed. Please do not allow your children to use playgrounds."
The park district will reassess opening playgrounds back up once more details are available regarding Phase 4 and playground reopenings.
