Wheaton Whole Foods Opened in New Location on Wednesday

The store is handing out gift cards to the first 500 customers

The Whole Foods in Wheaton opened at a new location on Wednesday, according to their website. The store was previously at the adjacent Rice Lake Square Shopping Center on Butterfield Road.

The opening ceremonies were scheduled for 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

The new location now features the a coffee bar and the Butterfield Taproom, where customers will find a "selection of local and hard-to-find beers on 24 rotating taps."

The store is offering gift cards valued between $5 and $50 to the first 500 customers. One lucky customer will get a gift card for $500.

Staff are also planning live entertainment, tastings, and giveaways throughout the day.
