Ex-New Trier Goalie Leads Knox To Conference Title

Justin Dunn gave up an average of less than one goal a game in leading the Prairie Fire to an NCAA Division III conference title.

GALESBURG, IL -- A New Trier High School alum had a steller season as the goaltender for NCAA Division III Knox College men's soccer team this year, helping the Prairie Fire finish the 2017 regular season as the co-champions of the Midwest Conference. Justin Dunn, a native of Wilmette, was lights out in the net, giving up only 11 goals in 18 games started.

Dunn went 11-2-2 in the net for Knox and had 10 shutouts on the season. He gave up 11 goals all year and had a .064 goals against average.

The Prairie Fire finished with an overall record of 13-2-4 and a Midwest Conference record of 8-0-1.
