FRIDAY, FEB. 11:

  • New Trier High School is hosting a Peer Helping Blood Drive at its Winnetka campus from 8:15 a.m. to 3:25 p.m.
  • Northbrook Park District hosts a from 6:30-9 p.m.  The annual event for daddies and daughters to enjoy a night of dancing, ice cream sundaes and appetizers.
  • C.J. Arthur's hosts cover band, The Slippers, at 8:30 p.m.Co

SATURDAY, FEB. 12:

  • is hosting "Building Career Skills to Get Unstuck," a seminar on job searching in a down economy. The talk is free and features Rachel Singer Gordon. The event starts at 2 p.m. 
  • hosts blues and rock band Lou Rider Band at 8:30 p.m.
  • Wilmette Theatre in association with Chicago Underground Comedy presents comedian C.J. Sullivan at 9 p.m. Tickets are $12, and the event is 21+.


SUNDAY, FEB. 13:

  • hosts the event "For Valentine's Day: Love Songs - Four Composers, Four Languages" from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The free event features musicians Clara Shumann, Germaine Taileferre, Robert Kritz and Enrique Granados.
  • is hosting the documentary film"Tapped" at Highland Park Public Library Auditorium at 2 p.m. The free event is also hosted by Highland Park Natural Resources Commission and the League of Women Voters.
  • is hosting a live performance of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet at 2:30 p.m. for $15. 
  • in Evanston hosts from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Knitters of all levels are welcome to enjoy this free event for little bit of creation and some good conversation.
