Human Relations Commission Hosting Black History Month Contest

The Village is seeking student posters, essays, poems and multimedia items that celebrate and educate on Black History Month.

Recently, the Village reinvigorated the Human Relations Commission (HRC) with a focus on conducting community engagement initiatives and community discussions on various topics. Click here for more information on the Human Relations Commission.

The HRC has decided to start with a project that was a staple of the Commission in years prior, the Black History Month Student Contest! Similar to previous iterations of this contest, the Village is seeking student posters, essays, poems, and multimedia items that celebrate and educate on Black History Month.
