Kenilworth Dentist Will Support Operation Gratitude, Troops Overseas
The NorthShore Dentist will collect candy from children after Halloween and send it, along with dental kits, to U.S. Service Members.

A Kenilworth dental office is working with a national non-profit that sends care packages to deployed U.S. Service Members to make sure our troops are able to property take care of their teeth while they are away.
The NorthShore Dentist is partnering with Operation Gratitude will provide our service members with dental hygiene kits to go along with candy collected from area children after Halloween.
Children can bring in a one-pound bag of candy to the dental office at 554 Green Bay Road in Kenilworth between November 2 and November 5 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. in exchange for a new toothbrush or toothpaste.

Children are also encouraged to write a letter or draw a picture for the troops.
The NorthShore Dentist will then send the candy with the dental hygiene packages to Operation Gratitude, an organization that sends about 100,000 care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items and personal letters of appreciation to service members each year.

“The main goal of this project is to come together as a community to show support and appreciation for those serving our country,” said Dr. Jeffrey Eadie, owner of The NorthShore Dentist. “Everyone loves candy, but we want to make sure our troops smiles are healthy, shiny and bright. It’s what I tell my own children - enjoy the Halloween candy but brush afterwards!”
The dental kits will include lip balm, toothpaste, a toothbrush, mouthwash and floss.
