Loyola Academy 2019 High School Football Scoreboard, Schedule

WILMETTE, IL — The Loyola Academy Ramblers continue their 2019 high school football season Saturday in Wilmette. To find the latest scores or complete schedule for varsity team's 2019 campaign, check out the scoreboard below.

The Ramblers (3-2) opened the season with a 27-10 loss to the Wildcats of St. Ignatius High School of Cleveland, Ohio, before dispatching the neighboring New Trier High School Trevians and the St. Rita Mustangs. Loyola lost to Mt. Carmel by three points in Week 4 and rebounded with a 58-6 away win against St. Ignatius College Prep of Chicago.

Loyola squares off 1:30 p.m. Saturday at home against the Brother Rice Crusaders (4-1), who are coming off a 28-14 win over Joliet Catholic.

According to Associated Press rankings, Loyola started the 2019 season ranked the top team in the state. After Week 5, the Ramblers were ranked fourth.

Loyola ended the 2018 season with an 11-3 record and emerged from the playoffs its second IHSA Class 8A state title in four years. The Ramblers closed out last season with eight wins in a row, finishing with a 13-3 win over Brother Rice in the state title game in Champaign. The prior year, Loyola had dropped the state final to Lincoln-Way East, who are ranked No. 2 by the AP to start the 2019 season.
