Man Arrested for Attempted Sex with Minor
His arrest was in response to an online ad he posted, police said.

Wilmette Police arrested 31-year-old Chicago resident John Gilbert last week after he tried to solicit sex with a minor.
The incident occurred at 2:06 a.m. Sept. 29 at Gilson Park, located at 700 Michigan Ave.

Gilbert was attempting to meet a 16-year-old girl for sexual intercourse, reports state. His arrest was in response to an online ad he posted, police said. A meeting was arranged and Gilbert arrived and was taken into custody. He was charged with Solicitation to Meet a Child, reports state.
