Man Dies At Hospital After Being Pulled Out Of Lake In Wilmette
A 31-year-old Chicago man died Sunday after he was dragged out of Lake Michigan at Gillson Park a day earlier, authorities said.

WILMETTE, IL — A Chicago man pulled from Lake Michigan Saturday in Wilmette died the following day at hospital in Evanston, authorities said.
The Wilmette Fire Department got a report of a person who appeared to be drowning at Gillson Beach shortly before 4 p.m., according to Chief Ben Wozney.
Wozney said life guards and witnesses had pulled a man from the lake and started performing CPR by the time paramedics arrived.

Rescuers rushed him to Evanston Hospital, where he died nearly 24 hours later, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Ankit Zutski, 31, a resident of Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, was later identified as the person who died.
