Readers praised the ambiance of the tree-shaded patio at Hackney's on Harms, at 1241 Harms Road in Glenview.

Hackneys was founded in 1939 by the Masterton family after getting its start as an informal spot on the back porch of the Hackney family home during prohibition, according to its website.
