Wilmette 4th Of July Fireworks: 2019 Guide, Scheduled Time

WILMETTE, IL — July 4th is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. Patch has gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Wilmette so you can start planning now.

Fun and Fireworks July 3 at Gillson Park
Festivities begin at 4 p.m. and there will be carnival games, races, pony rides and more kids activities and roving entertainment until 8:30 p.m. Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

Live entertainment schedule:
5-5:45 p.m. Ralph Covert
6-6:45 p.m. Dirk & Guido: The Swordsmen!
7-7:30 p.m. The Jesse White Tumblers
7-8:30 p.m. Illinois Brass Band - at the Wallace Bowl
7:30-9 p.m. Rosie & The Rivets
End of fireworks-10:45 p.m. The Dooley Brothers

The event is cash only. With very limited parking, Wilmette Park District officials recommended attendees park at the Wilmette Metra station or the Village Hall lot for bus rides to the park or take the Pace bus. Special bus schedules will be in operation. Tickets are $4.50 exact change only.
