Wilmette Business Opens Cafes at 2 CTA Stations

Butterfield Kitchen will open its first retail locations at the Roosevelt and Jefferson Park CTA stations.

 

Wilmette-based Butterfield Kitchen will be opening its first retail locations at the Roosevelt and Jefferson Park CTA stations to serve made-to-order meals to commuters, according to a press release.

The company will cook the food—such as homemade sausage, scones, Panini and wraps—onsite and has developed a local organic blend of Intelligentsia coffee that will be sold at both locations.

Nathan Proffer, culinary director for Butterfield Kitchen, says both locations were chosen because they serve as commuter hubs and well help grow the catering company’s business.
