Wilmette Public Library Presents Concert of Russian Piano Music

Pianist Irina Feoktistova to perform

Pianist Irina Feoktistova, who has performed in the major halls of St. Petersburg and toured Europe and the United States as a soloist and accompanist, will play a concert of classical Russian works on March 25 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wilmette Public Library, 1242 Wilmette Avenue, Wilmette.

This event is part of the Wilmette Public Library’s 2018 One Book, Everybody Reads series, which is featuring author Amor Towles’s bestselling novel, A Gentleman in Moscow, this spring. As part of her performance, Ms. Feoktistova will include some of the piano pieces referenced in A Gentleman in Moscow.

One Book, Everybody Reads is generously funded by the Friends of the Wilmette Public Library. Community partners for the 2018 One Book program include The Book Stall, League of Women Voters of Wilmette, Make It Better, NS/Modern Luxury, Rotary Club of Wilmette, Rotary Club of Wilmette Harbor, Village of Kenilworth, Village of Wilmette, Wilmette Beacon, Wilmette-Kenilworth Chamber of Commerce, and Wilmette Schools District 39.
