Wilmette Student Hurt When Blown SUV Tire Causes Rollover

A Wilmette college student and four fellow students were driving home to the Chicago area around 1:50 p.m. May 4 when their SUV blew a tire and rolled over near Remington, IN, killing a River Forest man, the Chicago Tribune reported. 

John J. Malone Jr., 20 of River Forest, was ejected from the back seat of the car and pronounced dead at the scene, while three other men in the car suffered injuries, including Jason L. Blackman, 20, of Wilmette, who injured his ankle and ribs, according to the Chicago Tribune.
