North Shore Senior Center Elects New Board Members

At its recent Annual Meeting, North Shore Senior Center elected five new board members, re-elected four of its current board members, and appointed a new Men’s Club President and OASIS Advisory Chair. These individuals will be instrumental in helping North Shore Senior Center in its mission: to support the independence and well-being of older adults, enhance their dignity and self respect, and promote their participation in all aspects of community life.

·         Thomas Terrill (Northfield)

Thomas Terrill has had a long career in finance. He is the Executive Vice President of the Third Market Corporation, Chicago, and currently serves as a Trustee of the Village of Kenilworth and as a member of the Board of the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Thomas is an Elder of the Winnetka Bible Church. He and his wife, Grace, have three children and eleven grandchildren.

 

·         Stan Ferguson (Northfield)

 

Stanley L. Ferguson is Executive Vice President and General Counsel of USG Corporation. He is accountable for the legal, intellectual property, corporate secretarial and corporate communications functions within USG. Prior to joining USG, he was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, a Chicago-based law firm. He is Vice Chairman of the Music of the Baroque chorus and orchestra, and is a director of the John R. Houlsby Foundation, a private charitable foundation. Stan and his wife, Mary, have two adult daughters.

 

·         J. Richard Fisher, Jr. (Glencoe)

 

J. Richard Fisher has been a partner in the Corporate Finance Department of Chapman and Cutler LLP for more than 25 years. His principal focus is the representation of institutional investors, primarily insurance companies, in the purchase of securities and related matters. Rick also represents investors in workouts and restructurings of troubled investments. He is a member of the American College of Investment Counsel and the Chicago Bar Association. Rick and his wife, Louise, have three grown children.
