Park Avenue Productions Nominee Wins Award

Zully Alvarado, Founder/CEO of Causes For Change International, a nonprofit providing free healthcare to poor children in Ecuador has helped her win an upcoming 2011 Impact Award from the Chicago Foundation For Women. She was nominated by .

As Zully says, “Each one can reach one.” Zully inspires us all as a role model. As a child in Ecuador, Zully almost died from poor nutrition and inadequate healthcare. Rescued by a visiting priest from Chicago, Zully was able to heal in the United States and then resolved to help other poor children in Ecuador, so they wouldn’t have to suffer as she did.  Zully developed polio as a child, and often works out of her wheelchair while helping others. She shows us all that anything is possible.  Over time, she has helped thousands of children.
