Driving Complaint Leads to DUI on Green Bay

A bottle of prescription drugs was also stolen from a home.

Prescription drugs stolen

Someone stole a bottle of prescription drugs from a home in the 1000 block of Ash sometime between 6:45 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

Stolen gas

Someone filled a vehicle with $41.18 worth of gas and drove away without paying just before 10 a.m. Aug. 25 in the 1000 block of Tower Road.

Office building broken into

Someone entered an office building in the 500 block of Green Bay Road and shattered the window on a door sometime between 6:40 p.m. Aug. 26 and 7:40 a.m. the next morning. Nothing appears to be missing. Repair is estimated at $300.

During that same time, another window on a door was shattered in a building on the same block and an iMac laptop, Apple monitor, and a yellow North Face backpack containing a passport were stolen. The loss is reported at $1,539 and repair is estimated at $300.

Stolen bike

Someone stole a women’s white Giant bike with a pink cable on the handlebars worth $350 from an unlocked garage in the 700 block of Green Bay Road between 3:20 and 5:45 p.m. Aug. 28.

DUI

Following up on a driving complaint, police arrested Wendy S. Musto, 68, of the 800 block of Green Bay Road in Winnetka for DUI at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 500 block of Green Bay Road. She was given an Oct. 8 court date.

Graffiti

Someone painted graffiti in the stairway leading to the platform of the station in the 100 block of Green Bay Road between 11:23 p.m. Aug. 23 and 4:43 p.m. Aug. 30. Repair is estimated at $250.
