WINNETKA, IL — Chef Michael Lachowicz's new outdoor dining service launches this weekend. The George Trois Group owner announced he will begin offering dinner service Friday on what he has dubbed, "Le Patio Aboyer." It will mark the first time in month that the acclaimed restaurateur has served patrons in person at his 64 Green Bay Road restaurant.

Now that Gov. J.B. Pritzker's statewide stay-at-home order has expired and Illinois has entered the next phase of his reopening, new safety precautions will be in place to reduce the potential spread of the coronavirus, Lachowicz said in a release.

"I have allowed seven feet from the back of each chair,” he said. "Masks are ready for the entire staff. I also have set us up with one-time use menus, exceedingly high quality, one-time use bamboo plates and bowls as well as one-time use linen-like hand towels."

"Each table will receive individually sanitized, chilled water bottles to self-pour as needed," Lachowicz said. "I have hand sanitizing stations positioned at the main entrance of the restaurants, at the entrance of the tree lined patio and between the restrooms."
