The village's Nov. 29 tree lighting ceremony will include carolers, live reindeer, a wine and beer stroll and a trackless train.

GLENCOE, IL — After a year packed with special events and activities to commemorate the Village of Glencoe’s 150th anniversary, the Sesquicentennial celebration will officially conclude at Light the Lights on Friday, November 29. The Sesquicentennial Planning Committee and the Glencoe Chamber of Commerce invite the community to join us from 4-7 p.m. in downtown Glencoe to say farewell to the Sesquicentennial year while also welcoming the start of the holiday season with an evening of fun for the entire family!
Made possible through the generous support of BMO Harris Bank Glencoe and @properties, and in partnership with over 30 of Glencoe’s local businesses, the evening will include the Village’s annual tree lighting ceremony (starting at 5:15 p.m. at the corner of Park and Vernon avenues), shopping specials, a Wine and Beer Stroll, a visit from Santa and his reindeer, carolers, a brass band trackless train rides and more!
