Hustle for The Harbour

Virtual Run/Walk/Bike Challenge April 11-24, 2021

This virtual challenge was inspired by one of the Winnetka Congregational Church Servants youth group who decided she wanted to do something to give back during these strange and extraordinary times. Sparked by this motivation, a team of middle school and high school youth got together with Outreach councilors to plan a virtual fundraiser to support The Harbour, a non-profit supported for many years by the church that offers immediate, stable and safe housing and support services to homeless young people and young mothers with children.

A virtual run/walk/bike challenge will be held April 11 – April 24. Participants register and set their goal for how many miles they can cover over the two week period. Registration opens March 19th! The fee is $35 and everyone receives a colorful t-shirt designed by one of the youth on the committee – extra t-shirts for family and friends can be ordered for an additional cost.

Through the end of April, each dollar raised will be matched dollar for dollar by an anonymous donor.
