North Shore Students Eat Burgers, Raise Money for Charity
Glenbrook South, New Trier and Glenbrook North high school students recently ordered 849 burgers and raised more than $800 in a day for Ronald McDonald House Charities.

About 120 students from New Trier Township High School, Glenbrook North and Glenbrook South high schools recently gathered at Glenview’s McDonalds to gobble down some burgers all in the of charity and raised more than $800 in a day, Chicago Tribune reported.
The 10th annual Burger Day raised money for Oak Brook-based Ronald McDonald House Charities and overall the team of students who organized the event raised about $74,000 throughout the year through company sponsorships, beating last year’s donation of $60,000, Chicago Tribune reported.
