NSCDS Girls Soccer Wins Super Sectional
The North Shore Country Day School team advanced to state finals for the 1st time in school history.

From North Shore Country Day School: For the first time in school history, the North Shore Country Day School varsity girls soccer team is going to state. The girls overpowered Elmhurst’s IC Catholic Prep in the Super Sectional Tuesday at Concordia University in River Forest, beating them 7-1.The Raiders were on fire from the very beginning, with sophomore Edith Edwards-Mizel of Winnetka scoring three goals in the first five minutes of the game—the quickest hat trick in Raider history. Edwards-Mizel scored one more goal right before the half. Then in the second half, sophomore Allie Charnas of Northfield scored two more goals and junior Paige Forester of Glencoe scored one.The Raiders will face ISL rival U-High in the State-Semifinals at 7 p.m. Friday at North Central College in Naperville.
