Readers Pick 501 Local As Best Patio In Winnetka, Glencoe Area
Winnetka-Glencoe Patch readers said 501 Local's patio at the corner of Chestnut and Oak streets is the best in the area.
WINNETKA, IL — Last week we asked Winnetka-Glencoe Patch readers to share their picks fort the top patios and beer gardens in the area. The results are in, with one downtown eatery recommended by a third of respondents to our unscientific survey.
501 Local, at 501 Chestnut St., offers lunch, dinner and cocktails on its brick-walled patio.
Located at the northeast corner of Chestnut and Oak streets, owner Mark Salmon opened 501 Local last summer at the former site of Trifecta Grill.

Its menu's concept is "American with a twist," according to its website.
