The family-owned T.L.Fritts Sporting Goods is set to close in December.
Located at 560 Chestnut St., the store has been a staple in the community since 1979, according to the Daily North Shore.
The closing has also been announced on the store’s website.

Owner Tom Fritts told the Daily North Shore he is selling the building to Kelly Golden, owner of the Neapolitan boutique in Winnetka.
