Township Trustees Inaugurated At Outdoor Ceremony

Trustees Begin Four-Year Term Serving Township Residents Under Supervisor Gail Schnitzer Eisenberg of Wilmette

New Trier Township’s Board of Trustees were inaugurated at a brief ceremony outside the township hall in Winnetka Sunday evening, May 16th, as the building is still closed due to fire damage.

Outgoing Supervisor Alan Goldberg was recognized by the board with the renaming of the board/community room in his honor. Dr. Goldberg of Wilmette served the township in various capacities since 1997.

Gail Schnitzer Eisenberg was sworn in as Supervisor, Nicole Capretta, Clerk and Danielle Ruben as Trustee. Assessor Jan Churchwell and Trustees Stefan Mozer and John Thomas were also inducted for another four-year term. Trustee Elliott Robbins will be sworn in at the May 25, 2021 board meeting.
