Treasury Bonds Stolen from Tower Rd. Home

Someone also lost $400 through a fraudulent eBay account.

Fraud-deception

A resident discovered July 8 that someone created a false eBay account and used the victim’s pin number to transfer $400 to a Western Union account.

A resident discovered July 11 that someone deposited a fraudulent check against his account. The amount of loss was $3,023.

A resident discovered that between Dec. 1, 2009 and July 7, 2014 someone removed several U.S. Treasury bonds and a paperweight from his residence in the 1100 block of Tower Road. The amount of loss is $2,200.

Someone stole a purple Northwestern University bag containing an iPad Air, New Trier High School ID and $30 cash between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. July 18 at Elm and Lincoln. Total loss is $480.
