URGENT NEED for Masks and Cap Donations - DIY or Purchased
The Volunteer Center responds to request to enlist support from North Shore residents.

Please Help! Medical workers still in need of PPE. The Volunteer Center is helping a volunteer who lives on the North Shore with family members working in the ER and on the front lines in various local medical facilities who are still in urgent need of additional PPE equipment – specifically masks and surgical caps. Only restriction is to please use breathable fabric such as cotton.
We have set a minimum goal of 300 masks and 150 caps. They are eager to receive DIY or purchased fashioned masks or mask coverings for multiple uses. The Volunteer Center is helping enlist volunteers – all ages can do this – to make easy no-sew or more protective styles. Local facilities have been identified that need them and they will be delivered as the VC hands them off. If the goal is exceeded, we will deliver to additional facilities in need. If you have a favorite DIY mask pattern, use it. If not, try these:
