For the Fourth of July, the following activities are planned:

• A parade down Elm Street, beginning at Glendale Avenue and concluding at Cedar Street
• Activities on the Skokie Playfield
• Activities in Village Parks
• A 5k Freedom Run
• Pop-up ice cream events at Winnetka beaches

Like many communities surrounding us, fireworks are postponed until September.
