Will You Help Thousands of People On Saturday, Oct 26th

The Volunteer Center (VC) is celebrating its 60th year of service to the community with a refreshed new logo, website and new opportunities to help those in need. The VC hopes you participate in its kick-off anniversary year event, the 17th annual Make A Difference Day on Saturday, October 26th at the Indian Hill Train Station Parking Lot in Winnetka between 9am and noon. Referred to as "Spring Cleaning in the Fall", this one morning collection drive benefits thousands of clients served by 15 nonprofit organizations in the N.E. Chicago area who will be present to accept your donations. In 2018 alone, over 25,000 items were collected and distributed to the nonprofits. Search your closets, garage and your kitchen cabinets and gather those items requested by the nonprofits. Please encourage your friends and colleagues to participate as well. Drop them off on October 26th and make them count! Help us collect over 25,000!
