Winnetka Blotter: Assault Charge, DUI Arrest, Stolen Xbox
A summary of incidents that occurred Jan. 24-29.

The following items are taken from Winnetka Police Department reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Sunday, Feb. 13

Traffic Arrest: A 20-year-old Northbrook woman was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended driver's license at 2:58 a.m. at Greenwood Avenue and Tower Road. She also received a citation for driving without a rear registration light. Her court date is Feb. 28.

Saturday, Feb. 12
Theft: An Xbox 360 video console and a video game were reported stolen from a "lounge area" in the 500 block of Birch Street. The amount of the loss is $260.
Accident/Property Damage: A 17-year-old boy was arrested by Winnetka police after he did not supply information after his vehicle hit an unattended car. He was arrested at 3:38 p.m. at Essex Road and Winnetka Avenue. The teenager received a citation for improper backing of a vehicle. His court date is March 16.
Friday, Feb. 11
Possession of Cannabis: A 15-year-old boy was cited for possession of cannabis at New Trier High School at 3 p.m. His court date is March 16.
DUI Arrest: A 61-year-old Winnetka man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence. Police cited him for driving with a blood alcohol concentration of more than 0.08, the legal limit. Police arrested him at 11:22 p.m. in the 1400 block of Scott Avenue after a suspicious circumstances call. His court date is Feb. 28.
Outstanding Warrant: A 36-year-old Homewood man was arrested after a traffic stop when police discovered the man had an active arrest warrant. He was arrested at 9:33 a.m. at Winnetka Avenue and Fuller Lane. His court date is Feb. 12.
Thursday, Feb. 10
Theft: A New Trier student notified police after he noticed that his wallet and a calculator disappeared from his locker on Feb. 7 between 4:15-5:30 p.m. The amount of the loss is $192.
Tuesday, Feb. 8
Aggravated Assault: A 35-year-old Winnetka man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault at 1 p.m. in the 800 block of Cherry Street. His court date was Feb. 9.
