Winnetka Blotter: Teens Caught With Pot at New Trier, 7-Eleven
A summary of incidents that occurred Feb. 21-27

The following items are taken from Winnetka Police Department reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Cannabis Activity: Police responded to a call about suspicious activity in the area of 7-Eleven and arrested a 19-year-old Wilmette man on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis at 12:34 a.m. An 18-year-old Evanston man received a citation for possession of cannabis, and a juvenile from New Trier Township was also cited for possession of cannabis. Their court date is April 1.

Feb. 24
Burglary: A bicycle that was kept in an unlocked garage in the 600 block of Garland Avenue was reported missing around Jan. 14. The amount of the loss is $150.
Feb. 23
Traffic Arrest: Police arrested a 30-year-old Hainesville man at 12:26 a.m. in the 1300 block of Willow Road and charged him with driving without a valid driver's license and speeding. His court date is April 1.
Forgery: A 40-year-old woman was arrested at her home in Matteson, Ill. on suspicion of forgery and residential burglary as part of an ongoing investigation. Her court date is Feb. 24.
Feb. 22
Disorderly Conduct: Police investigated a report of a disturbance in the 100 block of Sheridan Road from a resident and cited a Winnetka man for engaging in a quarrel and causing a disturbance at 7:30 p.m. His court date is March 16.
Feb. 21
Possession of Cannabis: with delivery of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis. The student was arrested following an investigation into sales of brownies spiked with marijuana on campus. The student's case was forwarded to juvenile court.
Cannabis Activity: A Northfield man was cited by police for possession of cannabis at New Trier High School at 4:15 p.m. His court date is March 16.
