THEFT
A black coat, valued at $2,295, was stolen between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. Oct.1, in the 800 block of Elm Street.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO SCHOOL PROPERTY
Someone damaged a landscaped area at around 9 a.m. Oct. 2 at Hubbard Woods Elementary School, 1100 Chatfield Road. Reports estimate the damage is $1,200.

DOMESTIC BATTERY
Shikhar Chatrath, 55, 995 Grove St., Winnetka, was arrested for domestic battery at 6:32 p.m. Oct. 4 in the 900 block of Grove Street, police said. Reports state the arrest was made subsequent to an investigation of a reported battery in progress.
