Winnetka Businesses Hope for Looser Regulations

Some Winnetka businesses say with changing consumer habits, it would help if the village loosened regulations.

In a perfect world, Boyar would like to have food runners bring out the food for customers ordering at the counter instead of servers because it would save about $200 per day in labor costs, while Link would like to offer wine and craft beer tastings without customers having to order food because when customers don’t want food, Winnetka Wine Shop looses the customers and food goes to waste, Chicago Tribune reported.
