The Village Platform Committee is the only committee updating its planks. The WCC proposed planks to be voted on at the Town Meeting are:

Village Plank #1
The Caucus recommends that the Village Council provide additional opportunities for public input into the storm water plan.

Village Plank #2
The Caucus recommends that the Village Council continue to implement recommendations of the 2013 ULI study to revitalize Winnetka’s commercial districts, specifically:
 Revise zoning classifications from a focus on business use to impact on
neighborhood/functionality
 Streamline permitting and approval process for new businesses and create a contact position to guide business owners through the process
 Consider increasing height/density codes with offsetting setbacks in locations near Metra stations
 Pursue a mixed use approach to redeveloping the existing Post Office property.
