Winnetka Chamber to Spend About $15K to Host Block Party

More than 100 food and retail vendors will come together to host Winnetka’s second Let Loose on Lincoln block party on July 20, which will also feature live music, and a beer and wine tent, Chicago Tribune reported.

Terry Dason, executive director of the Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce, told the newspaper that it costs between $10,000 to $15,000 for the chamber to organize the event and she doesn’t know if the chamber will make any revenue but the benefits to the village are impressive.
