Winnetka Getting New Luxury Consignment Shop
The store won approval to open from the Village Council Tuesday.
KMK Luxury Consignment, a high-end shop for men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, has been granted a special use permit by the Winnetka Village Council to open at 561 ½ Lincoln Avenue, according to TribLocal.
The store hopes to open next month, according to its website. Owner Karen Kikos refers to herself on the site as a “proud Wilmette native and current New Trier parent.”
All items sold will be from the current season and either new or gently used, the website says, and must be freshly cleaned. Anything that hasn’t sold in 90 days will either be donated to one of three local charities or returned to the seller.
