Winnetka Native Named To All American Hockey Team
Goaltender Allegra Grant of the Wesleyan women's ice hockey team made the list in a March 15 announcement.

WINNETKA-GLENCOE, IL - From Wesleyan University: Goaltender Allegra Grant of the Wesleyan women's ice hockey team, a Winnetka native, was named to the All-American East Second Team, as selected by the members of the American Hockey Coaches Association and announced by the AHCA office at the Frozen Four banquet on March 15. This is the first All-American accolade for the Wesleyan women's ice hockey team, as Grant was one of 25 hockey players selected for this honor.
Grant was stellar in goal for the Cardinals this season, registering a save percentage of .943 and a goals against average of 2.00. She earned her 1,500th career-save on January 11th, and recorded impressive shutouts over Williams (4-0) and then-No. 6 Middlebury (1-0). She was named to the 2019 All-NESCAC First Team, after earning Second Team honors last season.
