WINNETKA, IL — Police are looking for the owner of a lost dog found Tuesday morning. The female black lab was found shortly before 10 a.m. in the 900 block of Green Bay Road without a collar or tags. She has been kept at the Winnetka Police Department until her owners can be located.
Anyone who recognizes the dog was asked to contact Winnetka police at 847-501-6034.
As of 6:30 p.m., police said her owner had not come forward.

UPDATE: Police announced around 9 a.m. Wednesday that the dog's owner had been found.
