911 Caller Threatens To Kill Police, Paramedics, Dispatcher: Cops
A Yorkville man is being held on $1 million bail after police say he threatened to "kill the whole city" and shoot people.

YORKVILLE, IL — A Yorkville man is being held on $1 million bail after police said he repeatedly called 911 and threatened to kill police, paramedics, dispatchers and to "kill the whole city." Yorkville police said they began investigating the calls around 4:10 p.m. Saturday.
Police said over the course of several phone calls, a person made multiple threats and said he would start going around the state of Illinois to shoot people. The same person also called a business in the 200 block of East Veterans Parkway and threatened violence against the business and its employees.
Just after midnight Sunday, police arrested 26-year-old Claude Gauthier of the 200 block of Bertram Drive. Gauthier is charged with two counts of making a terrorist threat and two counts of falsely making a terrorist threat, all felonies.

Gauthier was taken into custody by the Kendall County Special Response Team.
He remains in custody at the Kendall County jail on $1 million bail and would need to post $100,000 to be released.
