YORKVILLE, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Megan, who nominated her sister, Sarah:

Hometown: Yorkville

Hero's job: Health Care

Reason for recognition: She is an RN that has been taking care of elderly patients,
including several who have had COVID-19. She loves her job and her patients.

One thing to know: She is such a caring nurse. Thinks and worries about her patients
when she even has a day off. Recently she has been working 16 hour days because they
are short staffed.

Thank you for all you do, Sarah!
