Yorkville St. Patrick's Day Celebration: 5K, Parade, Live Music

YORKVILLE, IL — The annual St. Patrick's Day Celebration will return to downtown Yorkville from 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday, March 16. The annual event kicks off with live Irish music and a 5K and features a parade and more.

Event proceeds benefit CASA of Kendall County.

Here's the schedule of events:

• 8:30 a.m.: Live Music Irish Music at South Bank Original BBQ
• 9 a.m.: RunSOB 5K hosted by Southbank Official Barbecue; race-day registration begins at 8 a.m. and tickets are $25 per runner in advance and $30 on race day.
• 9 a.m.-noon: Irish face painting for kids inside Southbank BBQ
• 11 a.m.: St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at Riverfront Park, 131 E. Hydraulic Ave
• 11:30 a.m.: Live Music by The Whiskey Brothers at South Bank BBQ
• Noon-2 p.m.: Miles Nielsen & The Rusted Hearts @ Law Office Pub & Music Hall
• Noon-3 p.m.: Stephen Bores & Rachel Irene @ Casa Santiago
• 12:30-2 p.m.: Matthew Ripsch @ Capitano Deli & Sweets
• 1-4 p.m.: Call Me Jo @ Rowdys
• 2:30-4 p.m.: Scott Tipping Trio @ Law Office Pub & Music Hall
• 3:30 p.m.: Maddie Brown @ Suzys
• 3:30-4:30 p.m.: Matthew Ripsch @ Casa Santiago
