County Animal Control Board Denies Director's Evaluation Appeal
Kendall County Animal Control board members denied Laura Pawson's appeal during a special meeting Monday.
KENDALL COUNTY, IL — During Monday's special meeting of the Kendall County Board's Animal Control Committee, the committee unanimously denied an appeal filed by Kendall County Animal Control Director Laura Pawson, regarding her Performance Evaluation written by County Administrator Scott Koeppel, WSPY reported. According to the news source, the appeal was denied Monday after the committee went into executive session twice during the meeting.
Pawson, who has been Animal Control Director for five years, didn't agree with the contents of the Performance Evaluation.
The meeting came two years after Pawson went on medical leave, which almost led to board members closing the county's animal shelter.
