Cutting Down a Stuck Drone and Water Left on for Weeks: Yorkville Crime Summary
There were some odd incidents reported in Yorkville recently.

The following information was obtained from Yorkville Police Department reports.
- Police received a report of people trying to cut down a tree east of Kelly Ave. and Redhorse Lane just after 3:30 a.m. on Sunday. The suspects said their drone was stuck in the top of tree and they were trying to get it back but cutting the tree down.
- A vehicle was stolen from the 400 block of Landmark Ave. around 8 p.m. on Monday evening.
- In early December, someone turned on a water hose spigot at a residence on the 800 block of Omaha Drive. It was left running until around 23 December, wasting about $100 worth of water.
- On Sunday afternoon, a resident of the 2300 block of Iroquois Lane reported to police that she had banished her boyfriend because he had been drinking, but he broke a basement window to enter the house. The boyfriend later agreed to leave and no charges were filed.
- A father on the 400 block of East Barberry Circle reported to police that his juvenile son was out of control and damaging items in their house on Sunday afternoon. Damaged items included bi-fold doors, a ceiling tile and a television remote control.
