School district 115's next On Point Speaker Series will discuss how to keep your kids safe online.

YORKVILLE, IL — Yorkville Schools' next On Point Speaker Series will cover cyber safety, according to a news release. Scheduled for Thursday, March 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Yorkville Middle School auditorium, the event will include a presentation by Detective Rich Wistocki.
Wistocki "will lead the cutting-edge presentation to empower parents and help them understand what is going on in their child's technological world," according to the school district. "The presentation will cover how parents can talk to their children about technology, parental responsibility, trending crimes, reporting incidents, collecting evidence, software for computers and cell phones, red flags, sexting, cyber-bullying and social networking."
Officials say WIstocki has dedicated his career to helping children by pursuing, apprehending and prosecuting child predators.
