
YORKVILLE, IL — From dogs breaking into a home then fleeing, property damage and a hit and run, Yorkville police have had a busy week. Here's a look at some recent reports provided by local police:
Dogs at large: Three dogs broke a screen door and entered a residence on Claremont Court. The dogs left, but weren't able to be located. The incident took place Sept. 30 at approximately 11:55 a.m.
Tag! You're it: Police responded to a call about playground equipment that had graffiti spray painted on it. The playground is located on the 2700 block of Grande Trail.

Fire hydrant hit-and-run: An unknown vehicle caused major damage to a fire hydrant and light pole at the intersection of Tuscany Trail and Mill Road. The date and time of the incident is unknown.
Jump around: An estimated $500 worth of damage was done to a trampoline Sept. 29. The incident, which took place at the 1000 block of Stillwater Court, is being investigated.
