Fake Money on April Fool's Day: Yorkville Crime Summary
Yorkville Police responded to reports of counterfeit money on March 31 and April 1

On Wednesday March 29 just after 4:30 p.m., Police investigated a report of disorderly conduct on the 1400 block of Cannonball Trail, where a customer was allegedly chasing an employee around the parking lot. No charges were filed.
Just before 1:30 a.m. on Friday, March 31, Angela Rompf was driving on Route 47 near Waterpark Way when her 2006 Ford Focus hydropaed and struck a traffic signal pole. Her car had severe front end damage and had to be towed from the scene. Rompf was uninjured, but police issued her a citation for failure to reduce speed.
Officers investigated three incidents of counterfeit bills used on the 1500 block of North Bridge Street on the afternoon of Friday, March 31. They charged three juveniles for using a total of $500 of fake currency and referred them to Kendall County Court Services.

On Saturday, April 1, a store manager on the 1900 block of Marketview Drive reported two counterfeit bills purported to be worth $70.
Police arrested Sergio Miramontes and charged him with driving under the influence. Officers reportedly found the intoxicated 25-year-old Yorkville man in a running vehicle parked near Fox Street and Mill Street just after 12:3o a.m. on Sunday, April 2.

Police received a report of a vehicle burglary on the 2400 block of Emerald Lane just before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2. A backpack and a blue tooth speaker were taken.
On the morning of Monday, April 3, police investigated a burglary on South Carly Circle where $600 worth of construction equipment was missing from a house under construction.
