Father of Dead Kendall County Pantry Director Arrested in Arizona

William T. Crowley, was arrested on Jan. 17 at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona, according to the Daily Herald.

The 77-year-old is the father of the late director of the Kendall County Food Pantry, Maria Spaeth. Crowley posted $2,500 bond the next day and was released to resolve his Illinois warrant.

Crowley is suspected of stealing between $10,000 and $100,000 from the food pantry between 2013 and 2016. His son-in-law, Kenneth Spaeth, is also accused of stealing from the pantry.
